Cocina Restaurant Supervisor

Casa Hotel’s 2 rosette Cocina restaurant team is looking for an experienced restaurant supervisor.

The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, motivated and have a passionate attitude towards work. You must be a team player and it is essential for you to be able to communicate effectively with members of the team, to encourage them to work hard, achieve excellent guest feedback and look to constantly improve our already high standards. Ideally you will have experience within a quality restaurant at head waitress or supervisory level and be looking for your next step within a busy restaurant. We require an individual that is able to deal with the rigorous demands of running a successful restaurant where the focus on the guest is the number one priority. You should be able to demonstrate sound operational skills and a passion for food and wine.

The role involves:

  • To ensure day to day operational running of each shift is to 2 rosette standard on each service
  • Continually monitor the restaurant, bar and lounge areas – greeting guests and providing services to our guests while observing service standards and guest needs
  • Corrective management of staff to sustain service standards
  • Provides feedback to staff to ensure guest expectations are not only met but also exceeded
  • A proactive approach to training staff to ensure they are fully confident and knowledgeable within their role
  • To work closely with the department head and assistant to ensure the restaurant meets its service, standards and financial objectives

Ideally we would like a minimum of 12 months supervisory or head waitress experience. The candidate needs to be a driven and ambitious individual that sees this role as an opportunity to progress within their hospitality career. The candidate needs to lead by example and be uncompromising when it comes to service standards.

Along with a very competitive salary you will also receive great gratuities, staff meals on duty, and a full uniform is provided. An opportunity for a monthly bonus is also available.
