Tell us about your role, what does your typical day look like?
As a hotel receptionist, my day-to-day revolves around making sure every guest feels welcome and taken care of from the moment they walk through the doors. I usually start my shift by checking the reservation system, preparing for check-ins and check-outs, and catching up on any notes from the previous shift.
Throughout the day, I greet guests, answer questions, help with bookings, and handle any special requests or issues that come up. I also coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
How long have you worked for Casa Hotels?
I have worked at the hotel for 2 years.
Describe the work environment at Casa in 3 words
Positive, Supportive and Friendly.
What’s your favourite part of the job?
What I love most about the job is the variety and the chance to meet people from all over the world. No two days are the same, I could be recommending a great local restaurant one minute and helping someone celebrate a special occasion the next. It’s really rewarding to be part of making someone’s stay memorable and enjoyable.
What’s your favourite item on the Barça Bar or Cocina menu?
I love the Walton Lodge Honey Roast Ham Sandwich.
